I’m Eamon. Irish writer and coder living down under. Welcome to my personal blog designed to inflict on you my thoughts and scribblings and to promote my writing application writoro.

Writoro is a personal project of mine. I’ve developed it over several years. Its main strength is its adherence to strict WYSIWYP(rint) principles. It produces pdf output which will go directly to your on demand printer of choice — my wife Erika used Writoro to produce 5 books using Ingram Spark as printer with outstanding print results.

The app is full desktop for Windows — no internet required — with a Mac port being worked on. Unlike its competitors, Writoro edits in full pagination mode — single click to a scrolling interface if you want it. It also boasts a completely unique feature, the ability to switch tenses between past and present, and to save the file with the embedded tense variants for printing in either. If you write fiction, that’s a biggie.
